This painting was inspired by a person I know who lived a life of self indulgence only to fall into the gutter. I just want to save others from doing the same. It is also about the second coming of christ. The man holds the bible and he was ready but now he sleeps and life washes over him. I,m hoping the cold water will wake him up and restore him. This painting is part of my spiritual journey series which is ongoing. I plan to make a book out of the images.
